His CD, The Arkansas Years - Part Two was release in January 2006 and it is cause people to stand up and take notice for their is a new sound coming out of the mountains of Arkansas.
The rebirth of Arkansas folk music can be found in Captain T, Tom Hunnicutt, who has written a number of unique master pieces about his beloved state, Arkansas. A blending of old style mountain music, with country and bluegrass in a folk like manner. It has captured the hearts and minds of both old and young. In April 2006 his "Craighead County Jail" jumped to number 3 on the New Christian Music (NCM) Country Chart out of England; in May 2006 his song, '"An Old Time Preacher" went to number 5; and in July 2006 his song; "My Ozark Mountain Home" came in at number 2. September finds a new song moving into that same chart, which is "There's A Miracle in Me". In November 2006, his Christmas song, "Christmas in the Ozarks" will move into the airwaves...and Paul Davis sent him word in June they are already playing it in his office.

Off of his CD, The Searching Years, Captain T has release several country songs into the Diamond Back Record Compilation out of Texas. September 2006, "Mexican Maiden" hit the airwaves around the world; in October "On A South Texas Highway", with "Would the Lady" in November; and to end the year his "Christmas in The Ozarks" will be release again. Both NCM and Diamond Back will be promoting this song and many think it will become a Christmas classic....yes, it is that good.

Look for much more in the coming year as Captain T becomes a name known around the world...and that is got to be good news for Arkansas.
