Liza’s body is in the cold, cold ground;
But she not there she been gone for a long, long while.
Liza’s cabin was located a few miles from Skyline Drive of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Captain T use to hike from his own little cabin and one day he stopped to rest a while when the spirit of Liza told him he was welcome and to sit a spell and listen to the wind. As he departed he felt a voice touching him as Liza spoke from beyond, “You come again, as you are always welcome to Liza’s home.”
