Checking Out The Gals

(Captain T (Tom Hunnicutt))
CHECKING OUT THE GALS
By Tom Hunnicutt

1. I like strolling down the main street, on a Sunday afternoon,
Checking out the ladies is what I like to do.
I like the way they giggle, I like to the way they walk,
I like to watch them wiggle in their tight blue jeans.

Chorus

Checking Out The Gals,
Checking Out The Gals,
There ain’t nothing I like better,
Than Checking Out The Girls.

2. Sometimes I like the tall ones, sometimes I like them small,
Sometimes I like the bit ones, but then I like them all.
There equally as pretty, each and every one,
they bring me lots of pressure and they’re really lots of fun.

3. There goes a lovely red head – my gosh she looked at me.
I wonder if she know now – I’ll see her in my dreams?
Now she’s got a sense of humor – that’s plain as it can be.
I reckon, she don’t mind that I’m only ninty-three.

4. Now when my time is over and they lay me down.
I hope they stand a bunch of gals all around,
And when they lower my casket deep within the ground,
I may just pick the lid up and take one last peek around.

(Off or Ending Verse)

5. When I get to heaven – I wonder what those angel gals
will look like?
I can hardly wait, I’ll be checking out the angels,
checking out the angels.
