I was walking down the sidewalk of a Plastic Neon Town.
Tin cans lined the sidewalks and the paper blew around.
All the people were frowning as they looked me up and down,
I felt the cold and the hardness of a Plastic Neon Town.

Now some people stood there talking, but they didn’t say a word.
And the children they were playing, but no voices could be heard.
The men were working on their cars and it really was absurd,
Can’t tell if I was dreaming or my vision just got blurred.
